Our Projects
CYCLE is a non-profit completely funded through direct donations from the community.
We want as much of your donation getting to the student so we do not accept resources from 3rd party intermediary organizations that tend to carve additional percentages off your donation. Our dedicated & passionate cadre of volunteers help us avoid support costs therefore a whopping 95% of your dollars go to purchasing bicycles and helmets.
Below are several opportunities for you to get involved with our organization.
Bike Builds
Our most impactful events are our bicycle builds. We have awarded more than 200,000 bicycles to hard-working students in the Greater Houston area. Our bicycle build is a momentous family friendly occasion where companies and members of the public make donations to help build and deliver bicycles to the excited students who’ve earned it!
Volunteer
When you join our email list, you become a volunteer. This is our primary way of communicating to our volunteer-donors news and events. Frankly, we have the world’s best volunteers and thousands return year after year. We even have generations of families working with us. The bulk of our volunteer are utilized during the Bike Build phase.
Sponsorships
Corporate sponsorships/donations are the bulwark of how we are able to reach so many children. We have received donations from many Fortune 500 corporations as well as local businesses. Please consider that an investment in a single bike has not only an immediate ROI but also has a lifetime benefit for the individual as well as the community.
